What can I offer

I can offer you hardware and software support and services, from general support for your everyday IT issues to top priority emergency troubleshooting. I can also both recommend and build you a PC tailored to your specific needs. I offer help with network and server operation and management and can assist you with website operation and maintenance, including consultancy and assistance for choosing the adequate technologies best suited to your requirements. I can offer you support and consultation and advisory services for deployment and use of a wide variety of information technologies both software and hardware based, ranging from home and gaming systems to workstations and including IT security. I can also help you with mobile technologies, especially (but not limited to) those based on the Android operating system. My whole career, I pride myself on the ability to resolve and succesfully untangle even the most difficult of problems.

Experience

Information technologies are amongst my biggest and lifelong hobbies. My interest in computers started back in 1987, since 1994 I work as an IT professional. Since then, I’ve acquired a truly wide range of experience in many different areas of the IT world. I’ve worked as a support technician on home computers and standalone workstations, as well as networks and networking technologies with dozens of workstations. I’ve supported both individual end users, as well as large workgroups. I have hands-on and long-standing experience running Windows, Linux nad OS X operating systems, as well as supporting a wide spectrum of common and specialized programs and applications on these platforms, including graphics and multimedia applications, and Windows and Linux-based server operation and support, including support for many related server applications. I have professional experience in the field of IT security, especially (but not limited to) related to network security and security policy creation. I have a long-standing experience managing web presentations and mail servers, as well as services based on a wide variety of platforms and in many different internet hosting scenarios including self-hosted presentations on client’s own hardware. From its introduction, I’ve also been actively working with Android OS mobile devices, including working with custom ROM and rooting, but by no means I am limiting myself purely to Android.

Location

In person, I am offering my services in Brno region directly at the client’s site. A remote support using remote control tools which I can install and manage for you is of course also a possibility. Non-regional support that would require my personal visit is handled individually according to previous agreement.
